Frequently asked questions
Why can rendering take a while?
DrawMotion renders on your device. Longer durations, transparent GIFs, large images, and older devices need more processing time. Keep Canva open until rendering finishes.
What files can I use?
The image picker accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP. A custom canvas may use supported images or short MP4/WebM video backgrounds within the size limit shown in the app.
Why did “Add to Canva” fail?
Check your connection, wait a moment, and use Try again. Generated delivery links expire after about 24 hours, so create the animation again if an older result is no longer available.
Can I make a transparent animation?
Yes. Choose No background to create a transparent GIF that can be layered over a Canva design.
Where is my project stored?
The Canva app processes the current input in your browser. Keep the finished result in your Canva design or download it to your device.
